Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 30 June 2026.

AI Tool Recap participates in affiliate programs for many of the AI tools we cover. This page explains what that means, how we manage the conflict of interest, and where the line sits between editorial and sponsored content. It complies with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) endorsement guidelines and the disclosure rules of the affiliate programs we participate in.

What Is an Affiliate Link?

When you click certain links on this site and buy a paid plan from the vendor, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That commission is the primary way AI Tool Recap earns money and funds the editorial work you read here.

How We Label Affiliate Links

  • Affiliate links carry rel="sponsored" per Google’s guidance.
  • Every page that contains affiliate links carries a visible affiliate-disclosure line near the top or bottom of the page.
  • Sponsored placements (paid promotional slots) are labelled Sponsored and visually separated from editorial picks. See our advertise page for details.

Editorial Independence: The Rules We Follow

  • Affiliate relationships do not buy a higher score. Our editorial rankings are decided against the scoring methodology, not against the commission rate.
  • Non-affiliate tools can and do win rankings. If a non-affiliate tool would score higher than an affiliate tool in the same category, the non-affiliate tool wins the spot.
  • Existing scores do not change when a vendor adds or removes an affiliate program. Our score is calibrated to the tool, not to the payment terms.
  • We recommend against products we would not use. If we cannot honestly recommend a paid tool, we say so – and we forgo the commission that would have come with it.
  • Sponsored placements are separated from editorial. See the advertise page for how sponsored slots work.
  • We disclose visibly. Every page that carries an affiliate link carries this policy or a link to it.

Which Programs We Participate In

We participate in affiliate programs for many mainstream AI tools, including chatbots, SEO tools, video tools, image generators, design tools, meeting tools, and automation platforms. We do not name every specific program on this page because programs change frequently; the visible disclosure on each page is the authoritative signal that an affiliate link is present.

Your Choice

You are never obligated to click an affiliate link. If you would rather go direct, type the vendor’s URL into your browser. Our editorial ranking remains identical either way.
